5 DIY tricks for a great winter

Winter is coming — you can already feel its sharp cold, days getting shorter. To resist going into hibernation mode, here are five very simple DIY mixtures to spend a great winter.

In winter it is necessary to protect your body against the changes of temperature — and it’s also necessary to stay hydrated. So why not start with an herbal tea recipe, based on a few chamomile leaves? The secret: Let the leaves infuse for 10 minutes and then, for the gourmet touch, add a teaspoon of honey.

Cold months are also the right time to stock up on vitamins, fruits and vegetables. Every morning, drink a glass of kiwi juice. It is so easy to make: Just mix five ripe kiwis, half a squeezed lemon, half a liter of mineral water, and a little sugar to taste if required. It’s full of vitamins, and simply delicious.

On the vegetables front, grandmothers know best. Throw a small squash in a pan with a spoon of olive oil, add a small zucchini, two carrots, and an onion. Cover it all with a bit of water, let it cook for 20 minutes, stirring it, and you will have yourself a delicious, velvety plate of vegetables.

Winter is coming — but now you’re ready for it!
